If you want a quick, but vivid glimpse of India, then
opt for the Golden Triangle train travel tour that will take you from
New Delhi to Jaipur to Agra and back. All the three cities are counted
amongst the major tourist destinations in India and are situated too far
from each other. While New Delhi is the country's capital, Agra is home
to the renowned Taj and Jaipur is the historic Pink City of Rajasthan. A
rail tour will let you experience these cities in their natural form.
Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
You will be received by our representative upon your arrival in Delhi.
He/ She will escort you to your hotel, where you will check in and rest
overnight.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
In the morning, you go to see Old Delhi, where the ancient edifices
like the Red Fort and the Jama Masjid will provide you a glimpse of the
capital that once used to be. Roam the colorful markets of Chandni
Chowk. The second half of the day can be spent in exploring New Delhi,
where you can see India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, Parliament House and the
Qutab Minar, among other places. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
After you have your breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway
station from where you board your train for the Pink City of Rajasthan
i.e. Jaipur. After you reach Jaipur, you check in at your hotel there.
Go on a mini sightseeing tour and shop in the local markets in the
evening. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing
You leave for a full day sightseeing tour of the historic city of
Jaipur today. There are many places of tourist interest here. You can
spend the day seeing the City Palace that has a perfect blend of
Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and the Albert Hall that has a large
collection of woodwork, jewelry, costumes, brassware, etc. Also see the
Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds - the landmark edifice of Jaipur, Jantar
Mantar, Jaigarh Fort and Lakshmi Narayan fort, among other places. Night
stay is at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur - Agra
Spend the morning at leisure. Later during the day, you will board a
train from Jaipur for the famous Agra city of Uttar Pradesh. After you
reach your destination late in the evening, you check in at the hotel
and rest there at night.
Day 06: Agra - Delhi
After an early breakfast, you leave to see the world renowned Taj
Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah's tomb. Taj Mahal is one of the
Seven Wonders of the World. It is a monument of love, built by Indian
Emperor, Shah Jahan for his lady love, Empress Mumtaj Mahal. You
check-out from the hotel by afternoon. Thereafter, you will be escorted
to the railway- station, from where you catch the train for New Delhi.
Upon reaching Delhi, you will again be escorted to the airport, from
where you will catch the flight to your destination.
