and palaces everywhere, whose architecture and ambience, coupled with

a completely different epoch. Each edifice, like the Amber Fort, Hawa
Mahal, City Palace and Buland Darwaza, provide vivid picture of the life
and time of the natives during ancient times. Rajasthan Forts and

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
You will be received by our representative at the Delhi airport and
thereafter, escorted to the hotel. Night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
You will begin by exploring Old Delhi, which was once the seat of
Mughal emperors. You see the ancient magnificent monuments like the Red
Fort and the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk. You can also opt for a
rickshaw ride across the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. The Jama Masjid, the
most reverent Muslim mosque in India constructed in 1658 by Emperor Shah
Jahan is also situated in the same area. The second half of the day can
be spent exploring New Delhi, where you can see the India Gate,
Humayun's Tomb, Parliament House and the Qutab Minar, amongst other
places. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
Today, you head for Agra that is about 200 kms from Delhi and check
into the hotel. After resting, you visit one of the Seven Wonders of the
World, the Taj Mahal. It was built by Indian Emperor, Shah Jahan for his
lady love, Empress Mumtaz Mahal. Though the architecture of the Taj
incorporates many design traditions, the most prominent are the Persian
and Mughal. You spend the night at the hotel only.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur
After breakfast, you go to see the Agra Fort that is also known by
names like Lal Quila, Fort Rouge and the Red Fort of Agra.. The Agra
Fort can be said to be the most important fort in India because many
great Mughal emperors like Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan
and Aurangzeb not only resided here, but also ruled the country from
here. Thereafter, you drive up straight to Jaipur, briefly stopping at
Fatehpur Sikri falling en route. Fatehpur Sikri is a 16th century red
sandstone city built by emperor, Akbar. Here, you can also see the
Buland Darwaza that is the largest gateway in the world. Once at Jaipur,
you check into the hotel and spend the night there.
Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
Tour the Majestic amber Fort on the outskirts of Jaipur. You may mount
a caparisoned elephant for a slow and steady climb up to the main
entrance of the Fort. Later, tour the ancient forts and palaces of the
city. The must-visit places include the City Palace that is still home
to the Maharaja. An impressive collection of antique weapons and other
artifacts can be viewed here. Then you will see the Hawa Mahal or the
'Palace of the Winds' and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Saunter briefly
through the bustling markets before returning to your hotel. Night stay
is at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur - Bikaner - Gajner
You drive to Gajner today and visit the famous Bikaner city falling en
route. Bikaner is a desert city located in the north of Rajasthan and
was founded in 1488 by Rao Bikaji. Here, you see the Junagarh Fort
constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the
Mughal emperor, Akbar's army. At Gajner, you check-in at the hotel.
After resting briefly, you go to see the famous Gajner Palace built on
the embankment of a lake by Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner. You spend
the night at the hotel.
Day 07: Gajner - Jaisalmer
You drive down to desert city of Jaisalmer today and check in at the
hotel on arrival. In the late afternoon, you go on a desert safari. Take
a camel ride across the unending stretch of sand dunes, view the sun
slowly melting into the ground and listen to the Rajasthani folk music
played by local musicians. It is surely going to be an unforgettable
experience. You spend the night at the hotel.
Day 08: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Spend the day visiting the city's magnificent havelis, each elaborately
carved out of golden yellow sandstone. The Patwon-ki-haveli or the House
of the Brocade Merchants is the largest and most elaborate of all
havelis at Jaisalmer. Conclude the morning tour with a visit to the
beautiful Gadisar Lake. After lunch and a short rest, you will visit the
Royal Cenotaph of the Rawals in Barra Bagh. From here, you can see a
spectacular desert sunset. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 09: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Today, you head for Jodhpur, which stands on the edge of the Thar
Desert, and check-in at the hotel on arrival. This city was founded by
Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rajput clan of Rathore. The important
tourist spots here include the Mehrangarh Fort, the Jaswant Thada or the
Royal Cenotaph and Umaid Bhawan Palace, among other places. You stay the
night in your hotel room.
Day 10: Jodhpur - Udaipur
You visit the Ranakpur Jain temples while en route to Udaipur today.
Though built in the 15th century, Ranakpur Jain temples are situated in
the interiors of the Aravalli hills. Despite being ancient, the temples
are still in a near-perfect condition with their each and every portion
neatly etched with designs. Once at Udaipur, you check in at the hotel
and stay overnight.
Day 11: Udaipur Sightseeing
You tour the romantic city of Udaipur today. It is famous for its
lovely palaces and lakes. Initiate your journey by visiting the City
Palace and then the Garden of Maidens or "Sahelion-ki-bari"
and the Folk Art Museum, which has interesting collection of puppets and
paintings. In the afternoon, take a relaxing ferry ride across Lake
Pichola. Night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Udaipur - Pushkar
You reach Pushkar today. Rest during the first half after you check in
at the hotel. Go on a sightseeing spree in the afternoon. Pushkar is a
pilgrimage place for the Hindus and you will find many temples here.
Pushkar is the only place in the world, where one will find a temple
dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the Universe. The renowned
annual Pushkar fair held during October-November draws spectators from
far and wide. You will rest at the hotel during night.
Day 13: Pushkar - Sariska
Today, you leave Pushkar for Sariska, which is set amidst the valleys,
hills and forests. The Sariska Sanctuary is home to an exotic variety of
wild animals and beautiful birds. You will be able to see Deer, Wild
Cat, Tiger and other animals. Night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Sariska - Delhi
In the morning, you will take a short tour of the park. Thereafter, you
will leave for Delhi international airport, from where you will catch
the flight to your next destination.
