Satiate your adventure-hungry soul by opting for the
Rajasthan safari travel. As you tour the arid Thar Desert, you will be
exposed to the lifestyle, culture, forts, castles, cuisine and customs
of the natives. You can also participate in the colorful desert festival
held in Rajasthan every year during winter time. Snake charmers,
puppeteers, acrobats and folk performers - you will find them all in
this festival. A desert safari travel package will take you through the
desert cities of Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pushkar and
Jaipur and help you experience the grandeur of Rajasthan.
Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
You will meet our representative on your arrival at the Delhi
international airport. They will escort you to your designated hotel,
where you will check in and spend the night.
Day 02: Delhi - Bikaner
In the morning, you will board the train for Bikaner. Once you have
reached Bikaner, you will check into the hotel and spend the rest of the
day at leisure. Night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Bikaner - Jamba
You will go on a quick tour of the Junagarh Fort of Bikaner that was
built by Raja Jai Singhji in the 16th century. Thereafter, you will head
straight up to Jamba, the initiation point of your camel safari. You
will be introduced to your camel pilot in the evening. Camp will be set
for the night. You will spend the night in the camp only.
Day 04: Camel Safari
Early morning, you leave for a five-six hours long camel safari across
the desert. You will attend a short lecture on introduction to
meditation and yoga in the evening. You retire to the camp for the
night.
Day 05: Camel Safari
You will leave for a five-six hours long camel safari in the deserts
again today. Evening time will be spent indulging in sport activities
near the camp. Some time will be spent on practicing meditation. Dinner
will follow soon after. You spend the night at the camp.
Day 06: Camel Safari
Another five-six hours of camel safari today across the golden Thar
Desert of Rajasthan. Halt at a village by afternoon time. You will be
surrounded by various children and elderly inhabitants of this village
and will enjoy interacting with these locals. This way, you also get a
vivid glimpse of the lifestyle and habits of these people. Return to the
camp for dinner and sleep.
Day 07: Camel Safari
After the camel safari across the desert is over, it will be time for
some sport activities in the afternoon. Thereafter, you attend the
evening yoga and meditation classes. Night stay will be at the camp.
Day 08: Camel Safari
This is the third last day of your camel safari travel across the Thar
Desert of Rajasthan. Have some rest upon return. This will be followed
by some fun games, yoga and meditation classes. You will have a peaceful
dinner under the star lit sky. Tonight, you sleep outside your camp
under the open sky.
Day 09: Camel Safari
After the camel safari, you will see a folk show conducted by local
snake charmers and dancers. After meditation, you have a leisurely
dinner and then retire for the night in your camp.
Day 10: Camel Safari
This is the last day of your camel safari. So enjoy the ride to the
core. You will bid farewell to your camel pilot and other members in the
desert safari team the next day. But this happens after meditation,
dinner and resting overnight in your camp.
Day 11: Drive to Jaipur
You leave for Jaipur after breakfast today. Upon reaching the Pink
City, you check in at the hotel and rest for some time. Have a stroll in
the local market in the evening. After dinner, you retire to your hotel
room for sleep.
Day 12: Jaipur - Ranthambore
Reach Ranthambhore and check in at the wildlife resort / hotel there.
In the evening, you go for a wildlife safari of the Ranthambore National
Park that is home to many Tigers, Deer, Wild Bore, Leopards, Wild Cats,
Foxes as well as a wide variety of birds. After dinner, you will be
shown a slide show or wildlife movie show. Night stay is at the hotel.
Day 13: Ranthambore Sightseeing
In the morning, you will go on a thorough wildlife safari tour of
Ranthambore. Late in the evening, after having dinner, you can watch a
move or slide show. You will rest in your hotel room for the night.
Day 14: Ranthambore - Agra
You drive down to Agra today. Check in at the hotel here upon arrival
and spend the rest of the day visiting the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of
the Seven Wonders of the World. Night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Agra - Delhi
In the morning, you will make a short visit to Agra Fort and
Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb. Then you will proceed to Delhi, where you check
into a hotel on arrival. You spend the night at the hotel.
Day 16: Departure from Delhi
In the morning, you will be escorted to the Delhi International
airport. Here, you will catch the flight to your destination.
