Day 01: Arrive Mumbai

called Bombay. It is the capital city of Maharashtra and the commercial
and entertainment capital of India. You begin by visiting the famous
Juhu Beach situated on the shores of Arabian Sea. This beach famous for
its beautiful sunsets and leisurely strolls, along with the delicious
street food, notably bhelpuri, pani puri, sevpuri, chaats, etc. Other
must-see places include the Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens, Chowpatty
Beach, Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, etc. You rest at the
hotel at night.
Day 03: Mumbai - Trivandrum
You board a flight to Trivandrum city of Kerala today. Check in at the
hotel upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Night stay is
at the hotel.
Day 04: Trivandrum Sightseeing
The entire day will be spent in sightseeing. The Shankhumugham beach is
just eight kilometers from Trivandrum. People flock here to see the
beautiful sunset and chill out along its sandy shores. 'Matsya Kanyaka',
a 35 m long sculpture of a mermaid and a starfish shaped restaurant
located in this area are big crowd pullers. Other attractions in
Trivandrum include Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace,
Attukal Bhagavathy Temple, etc. Night stay is at the hotel.
Day 05: Trivandrum - Kovalam
After a good meal, you drive down to the well-known Kovalam beach-town,
located 16 kms from Trivandrum. In the afternoon, you can visit the sea
port of Vizhinjam, about 3 km away, which is famous for its varied fish
species, old Hindu temples, big churches and a mosque. Night stay is at
the hotel in Trivandrum.
Day 06: Kovalam - Varkala
You drive down to Varkala in the morning and check in at the hotel.
Varkala is a small seaside town in Kerala and has remained a significant
Hindu pilgrimage center since the 12th Century. See the famous 800
year-old Janardhana temple here. Night stay is at the hotel.
Day 07: Varkala Sightseeing
Varkala boasts of having a clean, tranquil beach. The view from the top
of the surrounding cliffs simply amazes the tourists. After visiting the
beach, you can proceed to see other places of interest, like the
Portugese Church of Anjengo, the Sivagiri Mutt and so on. You spend the
night at the hotel.
Day 08: Varkala - Mararikulam
Today, you head for the Marari beach that takes its name from the place
of its origin i.e. Mararikulam. Mararikulam is a serene little fishing
village, where the inhabitants make a living by bringing in the daily
catch. Popular tourist activities here include taking cruises on the
backwaters, visits to traditional coir-making units, lazing around in
the sun, indulging in exciting water sports, swimming in the pellucid
waters or even playing a game of beach volleyball. You retire to your
hotel room by evening and rest for the night.
Day 09: Mararikulam Sightseeing
You will spend the entire day at Mararikulam, doing things you wish to.
The night stay will be at the hotel only.
Day 10: Mararikulam - Alleppey - Cochin
Today, you drive down to Cochin city of Kerala. On the way, you stop
briefly at Alleppey town, where you take a ferry ride across the
backwaters. Once you reach Cochin, you check in at the hotel. Night stay
will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Cochin Sightseeing
Cochin is famous for its lush greenery and serene backwaters. There are
many sightseeing spots in the city, like Fort Kochi Beach, Dutch Palace,
Jewish Synagogue, Church of St. Francis, Bolghatty Palace, Chinese
fishing nets and so on. The Kochi beach is a favorite haunt of the
locals and tourists alike. Soak in the peaceful ambience of this beach
any time alone or with family and friends. Overnight stay will be at the
hotel.
Day 12: Cochin - Mumbai
In the morning, you board your flight to Mumbai, from where you will
catch a flight to your next destination.
